Batcam

Batcam is a cable camera system which has operated for 10 years in the USA, being used for feature films, TV commercials and action sports events.

Batcam is now available in Australia, and is rigged and operated by Australian technicians. Fees can be set and paid in AUD. The flying camera runs along extremely thin lines at speeds of up to 170 kph. The camera can move along a horizontal as well as a vertical axis with spans between the support towers or up to 900 meters.

The camera is controlled by a stabilised Libra or Scorpio head with a regular wheels or joystick set-up. The travel of the camera is done by a second technician using a joystick or a laptop with Kuper software controls.

The Batcam system can also be used to power a dolly. This can be used as a high speed tracking system, or simply controlled by the laptop with Kuper software for 100% repeatable moves.
